Kate is the young mom of an adorable 2-year-old and wife of a local craft brewer. She has several years of experience in the childcare industry and is highly skilled in administrative duties in various work fields. Kate currently works as a part-time library assistant when she’s not raising her son and beautifying her home and garden with her husband. She loves making lists, baking in insanely large quantities, and staying up late to binge on TV shows while her family is sleeping.

  • What hairstyle best describes your personality?
    A ponytail - held together throughout the day by a single elastic thread. It's a good analogy for motherhood - love and coffee are my threads.

  • If you were a crayon color, what would you be?
    Yellow - bright and cheery and there when you need it for important things like the sun and bananas and ducks!

Melanie is an East Texas native and a graduate of the University of North Texas Communication Design program. She is currently working as a graphic designer in Fort Worth, Texas. Melanie loves spending time with her Yorkie, Lexi Louise, and her husband, Colby, as well as practicing calligraphy and freelancing in her spare time. She also really likes donuts. Like, a lot.

    I would want to read people's minds so I can know how to help them better or cheer them up.

Abbey is a 26-year-old artist living in Denton, Texas, where she works as a photographer for Lifetouch Preschool Portraits. She is passionate about children and has volunteered in her church's preschool ministry since 2013. In her free time Abbey can be found photographing nature and can be seen with a dreamy far off look and her nose stuck in a book.

  • If you could have one super power, what would it be?
    The power to manipulate matter. Because then I could create anything and do anything. I could make water appear in deserts, food grow any where. I think that would be so awesome!

  • What's your age and what's your actual age?
    I'm about to be 26 but I think I act more like a 10 year old sometimes. Though I can also act like a mom. So my mental age varies with situation and my mood.

  • Which letter of the alphabet is your favorite letter?
    'A' because it's the beginning of the alphabet and my name!
